Graham’s 1960: mostly red, though starting to orange. Initially the nose was weak and hot, with the taste being very hot and sugary. But it improved through the evening, raspberry appearing in the nose, and the mouth-feel becoming softer and more unctuous. Still hot though.

Some people loved this port. I thought it it far past its prime.

Smoky red berries with a slight VA hint but blows off.

Light birch with a coffee and caramel tastes that sneaks up with soft candied red cherries.
A soft sweet finish that lingers but would be lost if a heavier port were in this room.

The finesse reminds me of a fonseca. Julian can insult me with this any day.

+9 extensive bricking, and a tawny color (per jdaw's comment), very translucent. The nose has a lot of heat, a light cherry aroma and some leather. There was a comment it smelled like walking through a rotting orchard, to which I can only say "maybe a tad." It's smooth in the mouth, with lots of strawberry and chocolate flavors. I remarked it's a bit like candy, followed by a long tail. The bottle is definitely fading. 93.

I got some mintiness, orange peel, wild raspberry, spice, and some marzipan.
