1996 Graham's Malvedos Vintage Port - tasted Jan 2006
On Decanting
Intense fruit smell during decanting. dark purple colour. 1st taste of plums. Not powerful or hot at first but alcohol kicked-in after 3 to 4 seconds then faded quickly to a rich fruit taste. A good start!

More spirit on nose and taste - seems to have closed down, not much fruit and very dry.

Dark black fruits - no heat - nice long finish but not exciting - needs time

Very soft. Rich fruits with no heat - it did need time!

Dark chocolate raspberry truffle - still no alcohol - very good
