Quinta de Roriz 1999: 75% opaque, purple with a hint of red. Like the Rr95, faint nose, though this time with blackcurrant. To taste much smoother than its older brother, but young (forgivable), sweet (nowt wrong with that) and simple (but this really isn’t America’s Next Top Model).

MW found cinnamon, with which I just agreed.

Very dark, nearly opaque color. Faint fruit in the nose, in the mouth it was woody (birch), with a sea spray like quality (sans salt). Maybe moss? It's also a little fizzy. There's some chocolate in here, and it is smooth. John and Julian both vote for Black currant jam, and I'd agree, but would also agree it won't stay complex enough. It had a very short tail. Gave it an 88.
