Served blind, and with no signs of TCA. Mid-brown colour, paling rim and appearing very mature. Lively nose, full of sweet red fruit and a good dose of All Spice reminiscent of a Cockburn 1947. Sweet in the mouth with a beautiful balance of fruit and acidity, playing heavily on memories of sweet ripe tangerines. A big aftertaste, filling the mouth with burnt orange and Gran Marinier, which lasts a good long time. Simply delicious but aged way beyond its years when its identity was revealed. 92/100. Drunk 18 March 2009.

good to hear that there are good bottles out there as well. I had three in a row infected by TCA. 3 more and if I have no luck, I will give up on these.
