1975 Warres VP

Now opened for a good 5 hours.

A cinnamin raisin nose.

a slightly hot burnt sugar, graham crackers with a hint of red berries body that finishes a tad on the tussin side with a burn that sticks in the throat.

I can see this drinking well after the right meal, but definitely not on it's own.

Looked like a 1975 that is, faint translucent brown, the red having died long ago. Nose and mouth were of sweet light honey: simple, and no fruit at all. Pleasant enough, and perhaps even port, though should have been drunk two decades ago.

i must admit that after eating s ome pork with figs and walnuts this was fantastic and i told julian so.

it was only at the end of the night when everything was cleaned out i sat down and tried again

Or poke in both eyes with a ah so cork extractor, I know which I prefer.
