Ullaged to low shoulder. Pale red in colour, very clear and light. Sweet licorice - perhaps a touch of sweet aniseed and cocktail cherries. Initially slightly hollow, and takes a long time to develop and is somewhat simple. With a lot of air and work, opens up to reveal sweet raspberries and a lively pepperiness. Lovely thick texture. Pleasant aftertaste, but quite short. A wine which is pleasant, but fading. 84/100.
