NV Presidential Port (aka Dalva) Ruby
Popped and poured.

believed to be bottled in 2004. (because it's been in the parents cupboard since then)

dark ruby colored with a slight brown at the core in the light.

Spirity purple nose that reminds me of prune spirits (if they actually made one).

Sweet, toasted oak with that seems to lacking the expected lush fruit. Some cranberries but infused with some more toasted oak.
The finish shows off more toasty oak wood with a tannicy bitterish finish.

It'd be something i'd serve to people looking to have something to drink after a night of drinking.
