2007 Quinta do Noval

Post by DRT »

Tasted as part of DRT's Review of 2007 Cask Samples

Each of the paragraphs below are separate notes taken completely blind over a period of a few days:

Beautiful floral nose. Medium weight entry but thickens in the mouth. Smooth with low acidity and bif blackcurrant and treacle flavours. Slightly hot finish and soft tannins.

Some toffee on the nose. Very smooth and delicious red fruit entry. Acidity quite low with big dark fruits and powder dry tannins.

Lovely soft fruity nose. Very smooth and thick entry. Big black fruits and big dry tannins in the finish. Delicious. Very, very good.
