1927 Croft vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Light in colour, very clear and transparent. Traditional Croft faint oranges and tangerines on the nose. So smooth in texture, full and complete. Masses of fruit in the mouth and stunning levels of complexity. Very big aftertaste of huge size and huge length, just chock full of sticky marmalade. Stunning, really stunning. 99/100. Drunk 29 June 2009.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
