English bottled. Deepest coloured of the wines on show at this tasting being a dark red with a transparent centre. Dried or sour cherries all over the nose, but the heat of the room highlighted the alcohol. Initially restrained, sweet redcurrant with a biting acidity. Still some small tannins in the mix, and incredible spiciness to the wine. A huge, mouthfilling aftertaste just full of dried, sour cherries and which lasts forever. Wonderful port. 98/100. Drunk 29 June 2009.
