1994 Quevedo Colheita (bottled 2009)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled in 2009. Mid red colour, light centre. Raisins and damsons on the nose, with lovely milk chocolate. In the mouth this is full of dates and plums with some lovely sweet redcurrant. Surprisingly tannic in the mouth and on the aftertaste, which is dominated by the dates but shows cranberry again late in the finish. 91/100. Drunk 26 June 2009.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
