Deep purple colour. Lovely floral nose, hugely perfumed. Strangely hollow entry with the first mouthfeel being dominated by the acidity. Fruit is gentle and restrained. Tannins are quite gripping. Dry and gripping start to the aftertaste but they fade slowly to leave a long blackcurrant aftertaste. Quite light compared to other wines from the Symington stable. 85-87. Drunk 28 June 2009.
