Lightly coloured, just turning to a dark orange. Slightly earthy nose over the smell of dark blood oranges. Sweet and gentle in the mouth; a touch of tannin and a hint of fruit. Pleasant but faded. Work in the mouth releases some flavours, but the wine is past its peak and is in its early tertiary phase. The aftertaste is lively, not big but very persistent and with some lovely flavours of apple skins and cherry stones. Enjoyable, but fading elegantly. 87/100. Drunk 26 June 2009.

S58, though shown blind. 30% opacity, red-brown. To taste long soft fruit, then heat. Less red fruit, more advanced than others. Acid late-palate. Lovely. S67? S62? S55? No, S58.
