Finally a perfect 1983 Cockburn VP. In the beginning I thought to smell some TCA, but it went out to be not harming the wine. Powerful structure. Youthful appearance, strong and powerful nose with toffee, malt and background fruit. The palate is very strong and complex: again malty notes, a hughe complexity and quite some freshness around. Tannins are mostly integrated, but definitely there. Aftertaste goes on forever. That's what Port is about! 19

From an owc from Oporto.
