2007 Croft
2007 Croft vintage port
Decanted and drank immediately from a 375 ml bottle, very lightly sedimented. Light purple, with pleasant nose of primary black and grapey fruit, as one would expect from such an immature port. Medium sweet, with licorice, chocolate, and an odd metallic note that was somewhat offputting. Tannins were fine but not particularly gripping, and the whole package was a bit disjointed. My guess is this will never really come together. 85 points.
