Very pale red in colour (in poor lighting) with a pale rim and a very light centre. Very hollow on the nose, although it opened and developed with time in the glass to reveal oranges and milk chocolate.. Lovely sweet antry, very soft andf elegant structure. Lightly fruity with a peppery bite in the mid palate, although dominated by pink grapefruit. Warm aftertaste, with weak and milky coffee the main component, which settles into a long and elegant finish of dried cranberries and nut skins. 84/100. Drunk 1 Feb 2010.

Brown tawny, very translucent. To taste light and thin. Heat on tongue. Lots of fruitless sugar. AHB rightly said ‟grapefruit”.
