Light red in colour, pale and mature. Complex nose, tainted with a little bottle stink, but showing sweet junipers and cardamom seeds. Balanced sweetness in the mouth, very full of flavour and with terrific development. Tannins have softened and gone, but plenty of fruit still left in the port, with chocolate showing in the fruit at the back of the palate. Big aftertaste, and a huge length which is full of chocolate and raisin. Delicious port, but which needs at least a couple of hours in the decanter. 90/100. Drunk 3 Mar 2010 after 2 hours in the decanter.

Are you sure that's bottle stink and not something leftover from its adventure in the dustbin?
