1970 Kopke S. Luiz, decanted 15:30. At 15:45 the decanter-priming sample is mid-opacity, but a glorious red hue fading to pink at the edge. Nosing of cherry and flowers, with a gentle well-melded sweetness. To taste initially soft, and lighter than perfect, then a moment of heat late palate. Ending with gentle sweetness and great length.

Lovely port. Fully mature, but over the hill. Drink up slowly.
