1992 Graham's Malvedos (half bottle #1)
Tasted as part of a vertical of 24 Graham's and Graham's Malvedos vintages at The RAF Club, Piccadilly, London, on 22nd March 2010.

The links: *Please note that the 2008 Cask Sample was donated to this tasting by the Symington family before the final blend was complete so this may not accurately represent what the 2008 Graham's or Graham's Malvedos will be, should either of these be approved and declared later in 2010.

With the half-bottles #1 is from Paul Symington's side of the table and #2 is from Richard Maysons'.

Completely dead. Thankfully the one of very few from this evening and one for which there was another half bottle.

1992 Graham’s Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Port

1992 Graham’s Malvedos Vintage Port:
From a 375ml bottle. A medium dark ruby, but not as dark as the 1988. I enjoyed the youthful and expressive blackberries and prunes on the nose. Lovely blueberries were still youthful. Yet this seemed more open and approachable than the ‘86/87’s were. At 3.4 Baumé this was on the dryer side. 90 Points
