Very slightly darker colour than the Vargellas 1967 shown alongside. Lovely open nose, stewed fruits and floral perfumes. Smooth and sweet in the mouth; plenty of fruit with a noticeable tannic core. Fruit develops well in the mouth, but other wines have had more depth. A slight heat on swallowing, followed by a fierce spiciness and a very big flavour profile.

Three days later, the wine had sweetened and mellowed, showing much more fruit and softness - a significantly better wine and received a score of 92/100. First tasting note taken on 13 Nov 2009.

T66: Very dark, maybe an edge more so than the TV67. However, despite the heat, a bit thinner than the TV67. T66 the junior of the two.
