W48: 70%translucent, red-orange. Much softer than the W45 and W47. After initial heat particularly soft, but past its prime. Oranges, the only fruit being citrus. General agreement that the flavour was bunberry marmalade.

Two hours later, much more decayed, and decaying further through the evening.

On the night: Same colour as the 47. Nose a little stinky. Mouthfeel quite thick with orange peel and some heat in the mid palate. A good length.

4 days later: Puff Candy nose and a vegetal taste on entry. Bitter, then hot and then a very long sweet finish. Again, like the 47, it started off badly and then got progressively better in the mouth.
