Birthday celebrations with Sushinorth and a few other guests.

Decanted for 2 hours at the restaurant prior to drinking.

Slight celery backed with cinnamon infused butter and brown sugar.

Medium weight and sugary sweet on the entry with some of those maricino cherries you find in a shirley temple. The spirits show a spicy freshly ground cinnamon with candied currants on the finish that soothes the back of the esophagus going down.

Was on decline towards the end of the night at 4 hours but still lovely to drink.

Recommend 1 hour decant at most.

92 drink now.

2 days later and this has completely faded into a simple port.

Not as woody as a tawny but if you took out the wood of a 40 yr old tawny this is what it'll taste like.
