Fr60: a dry nose, with heat and late sweetness. I also found mint. In the mouth woody, with vanilla. Dry, and tired. Pleasant.

Most others thought it corked. Oscar Quevedo disagreed, thinking it oxidised. Being insensitive to TCA methought silence optimal.

A bit strange. Not quite right on the nose to me. Heat and vanilla dominate the palate. A bit astringent, with a short finish. Some spice, no fruit. 81pts

Red in colour, with some paling on the rim. Slightly corked nose, almost hidden underneath an attractive blackberry but with some telltale mustiness. Sweet, thick texture with pleasant red fruit and a lovely palate presence spoiled by a slightly harsh note with the acidity showing through an ejoyable raspberry coulis. Great long length on the tingling, woody and licorice root finish. 82/100. Drunk after 6 hours decanting.

My extensive note says: "Corked - badly".
