T60: nose is horrible, paint perhaps. The same fault seen in a bottle of Taylor 1945 tasted in Portugal. Taste not as bad as smell, being long and sweet. Still very faulty.

Really not good. Terrible nose, but somehow not VA (?). Thin, one dimensional. Touch of brown sugar on the finish tries to play redeemer, but this is short, light, and not enjoyable to drink.

Pale, clear centre, lightest of the flight (which included Croft, Fonseca, Noval and Nacional). Strange, soapy or perhaps stewed fruit on the nose and with lots of vanilla. Good thick texture on impact, but flavours come through quite thinly. Lots of vanilla pod flavours. Acidic and aggressive on the palate. Virtually no aftertaste, followed by a very subdued finish. Clearly faulty. NR.

My note says: "Toffee nose - bitter taste - not right."
