W60: nosing of cherry, heat and tannin. To taste heat, mid-weight. Heat until the end. Alas too light and too simple. PP rightly said ‟rum and raisin”.

I actually quite liked this (relative to the bunch). An elusive soy component on the nose. Bit of heat and spice, lacking fruit (a theme of the night), but reasonably balanced and half-decent. 85pts

Darkest wine of the final flight (Rei, Dow, Graham, Warre, Martinez). Not much on the nose, quite muted. Modest impact, simple and restrained flavours - sweet and raisiny. Subdued aftertaste; finish is of good duration but limited in volume. Unimpressive. 84/100.

Nice thick texture with good layers of fruit. Not yet peaked - great long finish.

After reading the notes of others above perhaps I was drinking something else when I wrote my note :?
