First bottle was corked. A young looking wine, deep in colour with an opaque centre and a deeply coloured rim. Chocolate, cherries and damsons on the nose. Silky in texture, young and tannic structure supporting a massive wine with a huge amount going on. Blueberry juice everywhere. Soft and fruity afetrtaste with plenty of soft chocolate and a good length. The wine of the night. 93/100. Drunk 26 May 2010 after 2.5 hours decanting.

Agreed that this is a great port. LadyR and I chose this to serve at our wedding dinner. :)

2.5 Hours may just have been a bit short on decanting. Of the bottles I tried I felt that it really needed about 6-8 hours to open up a bit.

I plan to taste it again soon, hopefully that bottle will show just as well as this one!
