Reddish brown hue, like a clear amber on the color.

There's a slight cheddar on the nose but the spiced red currants mixed with cinnamon sugared cherries shine through shortly after. Not much heat on the nose at all.

Thick and lush, a bit of hidden honeyed fruit, a slight burn of the spirits. More like a fruity coffee then stewed fruits.
It has wonderful cedar finish that goes on for < 45 seconds.

Mature and ready to drink for tonight.

I'm probably going to stick the cork back on immediately and put it in the fridge, doesn't seem to need much more time.

91 so far.

A very good bottle and one rarely talked about and often overlooked. which means it can usually be found at a good price 88)
