Nothing much on the nose. In the mouth there were strawberries and little else. Very simple but better than 1975. Mildly enjoyable.
Port is basically a red drink

First flight, served alongside Fonseca 1975.

Light, but vividly ruby colour. Not unpleasant nose, very delicate but showing some light red fruit. Also a tad too alcoholic though. Pretty light on the palate. Not much fruit left, maybe some plum, but that's about it. A bit flat on the finish. Lacking in body, flavour intensity and pretty much everything else, but still a decent, drink now port. 85 points.
