Date: July 2010
Colour: Dark reddish brown
Quite a lot of spirit dominating this port at T+0, in the background I found dried fruit notes of prunes & dates? Tanins were noticeable but not overpowering. Tasted again at T+3 and then finished with friends at T+8. As time went on the spirit seemed to dominate less and it became smoother but it never seemed to find quite the right balance.
Overall very pleasant, but not outstanding.
