Very good structure. Optics exactly what you expect from a good 50 year old VP. Very narrow watery rim with full dark-orange colour.

Bouquet showes full raisins in rum, honey, malt and a spicy background. Directly after decanting very closed. Improved with further oxidation until about 4 hrs then remained there for another 2 hours and then slowly started to decline. Acutally we finished the bottle before furhter investigation after about 10 hrs.

Palate proved the nose with lots of honey and malt, very integrated, slight ammount of acidity noticeable which still gave the port some freshness.

Medium length in the aftertaste. Overall very pleasant and definitely a 1960 VP to look out for.
