Df85, from AHB. Colour only 30% opaque, the hue being a strawberry tawny. Alcohol prominent in the nose, with not much fruit. A lot of tartness early palate, and alcohol late. Flavours of orange and strawberry. Light at start, lovely sweetness mid-palate to the end. Guesses: W77 (JDAW); Cr77 (RLC); W66 (THRA). following the tie-break described in the QH77 TN, third-placed WOTN.

Slightly lightet and more mature looking than the QH77 shown alongside. Sweet raisins and mace on the nose, with lots to smell. Sweet entry, good levels of secondary fruit, which show a good balance. Some very slight tannins and gentle acidity. Lovely balance. A slight burn on swallowing, then a long juniper and redcurrant finish. Easy drinking port. 89/100, drunk 26 August 2010.

I marginally preferred this to the QH77.
