1994 Dow

Since I am feeling much better now I decided to open up a bottle of Dow 1994 two hours ago.
Amazingly dark colour with absolutely no signs of age. Strong nose with tar, redberries and some pepper and vanilla. Extremely complex palate with almost the same individual taste. Alcohol, tannins, fruit and acidity is easiliy identifiable, very intense, but all in perfect composition. Long, slightly alcoholic aftertaste.
Yes - too young, but yes - an extremely good port to age very well and will reward those who wait. 18,5
