I normally prefer LBVs to be young and powerful, with a few exceptions - and this LBV is a good example of such an exception. Decanted and drunk right away. Colour faded to brownish red. Nose and taste full of raisins and plum. Alcohol well integrated, yet still there as it need to be. Tannins were smooth. Light-to-medium body. In overall a well-balanced port. May be at it's peak now. A nice LBV that my friends and I enjoyed very much.

On Tom's scale I would probably rate it 6-4.
