1977 Gould Campbell vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Dry and bitter. Full of bitter tannins with some sweet fruit hidden in the background. Others with experience of good bottles of wine say that this is a bad bottle. NR. Drunk 25 September 2010.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

GC77: to behold a wonderful slightly-purple 80% opacity. Nose: ‟Not a lot. Damp. Not nice.” Alas TCA.
