Solid red in colour, right into the rim; 95% opaque. Bottle ages nose, full of primary blackcurrants but not showing any baby fat. Good entry, medium bodied with lots of fruit, lots of acidity but a slightly watery texture. Tannins strong, but integrating well; the fruit is dominated by blueberries and brambles. Heat and fruit on the aftertaste, followed by mature fruit and middle aged flavours. Served blind, I guessed this to be an LBV from 2003. 91/100. Drunk 27 September 2010.

Qv00 colheita, served blind. Purple. Rather light nose, some sugar. Taste has heat, mid-light weight. Heat late palate.

Guessed, not too disgracefully, to be 2000ish LBV.
