Rich red colour, 90% opaque. Floral tones on the nose, over a warm mulberry and fig; very slightly off-putting. Lovely entry, sweet and with lots of sweet cherry. Big layering of flavours; lots of sweet fruit; big palate with multiple layers of flavour. A real delight to chew on - even a slight hint of tannin. A lovely aftertaste, big fruit flavours which which fade quickly to leave a very low and slightly disappointing fruit finish. 89/100. Drunk 25 September 2010.

W70: dark red 60% opacity. Nose of spearmint and red cherry, with strawberries behind. To taste very long, strawberry fruit throughout, some heat early palate. Lovely.

Voted second by me, third by everybody else, thus finishing third.
