NV Taylor 10 Years Old Tawny Port
From a 50cl bottle; bottled 2009.
Served cool, about 12C I think. Pale red/brown colour. Quite light, dried fruit, sticky Christmas pud, marzipan, raisins and peel. It benefits from being cooler than R.T.; very sweet but with plenty of acidity to balance. A long lingering finish of marzipan and, oddly, a little bitterness reminiscent of Campari. A lovely light port to drink before dinner.
