1977 Gould Campbell

Post by RonnieRoots »

Tasted April 2004 with tsunami:
Young, closed, a powerhouse, and completely worth its high WS rating. We tried it again on day 2 and right now I am sipping the last remains.
and some notes on that sipping...
I am sipping on the last remains of the Gould Campbell as I type, and it is still lovely. Rounder, softer and more jammy. The raciness and tannins still show in the finish but have become less apparent. But still: much too young. So if you have this in your cellar, leave it there for a long, long time!
