Mystery port, being drunk as an annexe to the Wokingham emergency.

Red-red-orange, 30% opaque. Colour slightly tawny. Nose like taste: light weight, Mid-sweetness, smooth, very drinkable. Perhaps a faint hint of orange. Also sweet grape. No red fruit at all: no berries, no plums. SCP-DFF thought it hot, but for me pleasantly so, at the edge of the tongue.

As Rolf Harris often asks: can you tell what it is yet?

That's almost exactly the same as drinking Quinta do Noval 1955 and Graham's 1963.

Was that your "Unknown Shipper" or your "Peculiar Friend"?

Both colour and taste show some wood ageing, which isn’t my taste. But it is well-made port that is a pleasure to drink. I’m impressed.

€12ish from Monoprix.

Does the back label read anything like the Graham's Reserve I had three years ago?
