1976 Warre colheita bottled 2001, served at the mostly-Smith Woodhouse tasting on Sat 8 Jan 2011. Tawny orange centre, hint of green at the edge. Nosing of wood, marmalade and alcohol. To taste lots of heat, slight cloyingness, and reasonable length. JohnB right said ‟almonds, toasted”.
