From the LBV Old and New - part 2 tasting:
The youngest of the Taylor LBVs tasted on the night, but it didn't help. It's still over 30 and far too old, fruitless and thin.

Nice ruby red. Yeast on the nose, like the 65 and 67 on the same night. Still some red fruit on the palate but starting to dry out. A nice cherry finish.

Filtered, bottled in 1985. 30% opaque. Vague plastic on the nose, but mostly an absence of smell. Sweet in the mouth, quite hollow, but some juniper bitterness. Aeration allows fuller flavours to develop - oranges and coffee. Sweet and sticky aftertaste, followed by a mild chocolate and very long length (which was noticed in all 4 mature Taylor LBVs on the night). Comparatively pleasant. 79/100.
