Nice, clear red colour. Somewhat overly spirity on the nose in the beginning, but this gets better with some hours in the decanter. Not extremely concentrated or complex, but a very nice drinking port. Soft and fruity, with still some primary fruit, but also moving towards figs and prunes. A bit peppery on the finish. Later also showing very nice flavours of liquorice / bay leave. Lovely port, drink or hold. 88 points.
On day two, very soft and friendly, more figgy, and some tobacco as well. Rather short finish. Better on day one, but still enjoyable.
