FG42. Tawny orange, 30% opaque. Nose subdued. To taste, ‟sour, off”.

Later, better, the sourness having crystallised into leather and tobacco. Very light.

The palest wine of the tasting, a very light orange colour, perhaps only 10% opaque. Weak and light on the nose, slightly medicinal. Elegant entry, light bodied, very floral but with a touch of grapefruit bitterness that grows in the mouth. A peppery aftertaste which lasts hotly for a good time. Lovely elegance and very tasty — and also a wine which rewarded patience to allow it to sit and improve in the glass as this was much better at the end of the tasting than at the start. 84/100.
