FG87. Dark red, 70% opacity. To taste big and jammy. Strawberry jam? Powerful. AB reported chocolate.

Very dark, looking to just have reached maturity; 95% opaque. Lovely fruit on the nose, dark blackberries and a streak of birch sap. On the palate there were some flavours that left me wondering whether the wine was very slightly corked. Very tanninc and with musty fruit flavours, the deep bramble fruit is very earthy. A big wine on the palate. Shows gentle heat and strong sweet blackberry tannins before a long, dry finish of dark bramble fruit and chocolate. A great finish, but an odd palate. 87/100.
