Opened on pop and pour basis 48-hours previously and refrigerated after 1 glass of an aborted session.

Broadly consistent with the notes posted here from a tasting several weeks earlier, though perhaps the sub-optimal decant knocked a couple of points off.

jdaw1 may be able to confirm, but i believe guesses included "minor '94", Fonseca '92, Vesuvio '05(!), and bits and pieces from the 80s. So all over the place.

Bartering at the table over loose stock always a good sign. And those who took a punt on a case of this originally will be well pleased.

RAYC’s Rs91. 80% opaque. To taste young fruit, heat, and tannins.

I thought a minor 1994. Others CR87, Ni92, V97, Ni92. F92, V04. So we had no idea.

Still very dark with only a little lightening. Not great on the nose: licorice and pepper. Very nice and attractive in the mouth. Milk chocolate predominates. One of the better 1991s I have tried for drinking now.
