No formal notes, except to say that i liked this and consensus round the table indicated it showed better than recent examples of the same wine.

JGH’s TV78. Red, 50% opaque. Rich and soft. Sweet. Some heat. Lots of red fruit.

I mis-guessed a Niepoort, unknown vintage (I was right about the ‘unknown’). Others thoughts G77, [illegible] ’67, F80, DB78, W77.

I think it may have been a Vargellas ’67 since I think one person got the shipper right. What is ‟FB”?
