2006 Rozès Terras do GriFo

Tasted at The Big Fortified Tasting, a trade fair in London at Glaziers Hall on Wed 06 April 2011 (Review thread, containing links to other tasting notes). This being a large trade-fair event, tasting notes generally brief.
RG06. Dark red, 80% opaque. Heat. Big cherry fruit. Mid-weight. ‟Surprisingly good.” They claimed £12.60+VAT from J&B, but I can’t see it on or near the relevant part of the J&B website.
I asked why the internal capitalisation in ‟GriFo”. (Whilst I was asking, a particularly sensitive listener might have sensed that my opinion was not one of undiluted enthusiasm.) They had no answer, even suggesting that it might have originally been a typo to which the firm was now committed. However, the salespeople sent by Rozès were clearly not port specialists, so the real reason might be even worse than this.
