The Croft 2000 included some friut from Panascal. Now starting to lose some colour and to develop some early signs of development in the appearance. Some baked fruit on the nose, followed by sweet baked fruit on the initial palate supported by gentle tannins and fierce acidity. Not particularly well balanced today. The aftertaste is soft and gentle and very tasty. Not great drinking today - one to tuck away in the cellar for 10 years and wait for the metamorphosis to complete. This might turn out to be a great Croft. 84/100 if drinking today.
