This arrived quite late in the proceedings and I suspect slightly too late for my palate and note taking capabilities to be at their best:

‟VG - slightly hot”.

But I do remember it being a lovely glass of mature port, especially after it had some time in the decanter/glass.

One of the ports from the list of the Crusting Pipe. Slightly darker in colour than the G83 shown alongside, 70% opaque. Dusty redcurrants on the nose and a touch of mintiness. Spicy and hot entry, with the spiciness dominating the generous levels of fruit. Lots of maturity to this port, with much of the fruit flavours being of dried fruit. Hot aftertaste and a hot start to the finish, which morphs into a pleasant strawberry jelly of decent length. Very pleasant current drinking. 89/100.
