Big fruity nose. Sweet entry, good weight. Quite soft and starting to mature. Nice, long chocolate finish. Very good port for drinking now.

Red in colour, paling slightly on the rim; 60% opaque. Floury raspberries on the nose, with dusty tones - like the morning dew on fresh picked blackberries. Soft in texture, but with a sharply focused acidity that draws a hint of sweetness onto the tongue. The flavours are dominated by dusty tayberries, sweetened with brown sugar. Almost no tannins are present until they make a brief appearance on the aftertaste - which quickly fades to leave a long but subdued juniper aftertaste. A port which is drinking perfectly now, and one which benefited greatly from being allowed to sit in the glass for 2-3 hours after being poured. 88/100.
